Hello everyone!
Gong Xi Fa Cai! Happy lunar new year!
Good health, peace, happiness, wealth and love to one and all.
I have received a few emails from people who are interested to start yoga classes and would like to know where I teach, or what my rates are.
Just to clarify - I no longer own a studio. I teach at various yoga centres in the Orchard area (Bodhi Yoga, Shambhala Yoga Centre & True Yoga).
I'm not too sure what the cost is per class, but do give these centres a call to find out more.
For Bodhi and Shambhala Yoga centres, they sell 10 or 12-class packages, which are usually valid for 3-4 months (please check with the individual centres.
At some studios, you can even share your package with your spouse, partner or friend. Again, please check with the centres.
At True Yoga, you have the flexibility of choosing from a few packages. I think they range from a yearly membership, to a life-time membership. And you get to also enjoy their gyms as well (depends on which package you're signing up for).
True Yoga has also recently opened a Bikram Studio at Pacific Plaza. For hot yoga fans, that means you get to enjoy the regular non-hot yoga classes, regular hot yoga classes and Bikram yoga classes + gym facilities under the True Yoga umbrella. That's really not too bad a deal.
As for me, I have yet to brave the heat and give Hot Yoga or Bikram a try. I can't get past the fact that practicing yoga at room temperature already leaves me soaking wet…what more in a heated room.
Some say hot yoga creates a sense of purity (cleansing) especially with all the profuse sweating. I guess…I still have to muster up courage to enter that heated room.
The year is still new. Many possibilities await.
I'll end here. Please check the teaching schedule link to see where i'm teaching at.
I hope to see you all soon.
Be well.
love&light,
Adeline
